Doug is from Branson, Missouri where he worked the for 28 years building homes and developing subdivisions. Doug enjoyed all aspects of involved with real estate development, construction, and apartment management. Doug's family always vacationed in the Lake Tenkiller area, and upon retiring from the business, it was clear that Doug wanted to reside in the Lake Tenkiller area with his wife, Faye.

Since his retirement, he missed his involvement with real estate, and it was natural for him to enter the real estate profession and work at the Century 21 Wright Real Estate Office near his home at Horseshoe Bend.
