Faye was raised in Nashville and attended college in Kansas, where she received her degree in Business Administration. She worked with a law firm as a para-legal before moving to Branson where she was head of telephone contractor systems in the Branson area. While living in Branson, she met and married Doug Allcorn and became involved with Doug's business and management of the family apartment complex. Faye enjoyed all aspects involved with real estate development, construction, and apartment management.

Upon her retirement to the Lake Tenkiller area with her husband, she missed her involvement with real estate, and it was natural for her to enter the real estate profession and work at the Century 21 Wright Real Estate Office near her home at Horseshoe Bend.
