Suzanne has been a resident of Tahlequah for twenty-eight years, having come to Tahlequah to begin her pursuit of a degree from Northeastern State University. Suzanne graduated from NSU with a bachelor's degree in Tourism Management and a master's degree in College Teaching with an emphasis in Student Personnel Services. She has been an employee of NSU for twenty-one years working in the offices of Student Financial Services, Student Affairs, and since July 2005, she maintains the position of Transfer Student Coordinator with the First-Year Experience Office.  Suzanne will also be involved in the real estate profession in addition to her current position with the university.

As loyal supporter of the NSU RiverHawks athletic teams, Suzanne is a life-time member of the NSU Alumni Association. She also serves as a board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Tahlequah.

During 2007 Suzanne made a commitment to give at least 20% of her real estate earnings back to the Tahlequah community. She has sponsored such community events as the TPS Public School Foundatio's Golf Tournament lunch, Tahlequah football golf tournament lunch and was a corpote sponsor for the 2007 NSU Homecoming.

Suzanne truly enjoys living in Tahlequah and is proud to call it home. She appreciates the community atmosphere and the spirit of the residents of Tahlequah and Cherokee County. She enjoys the ability to walk down the street and greet others by name.
